Hello Choir Members! We are getting ready to sing! When? Sunday, November 20, 2011 BOTH 9 & 11 am SERVICES! Practice times are still EVERY Wednesday at 5:30 pm in the Conference Room behind the Sanctuary.
Our new choir director, Dr. Erminel Trescott, has stated that the dress code for choir members is to wear ALL black on the day we sing. No flashy jewelry or anything to distract from singing unto God. No sleeveless shirts, shorts, or short skirts, please. Remember, we are standing on a large stage with bright lights and video cameras watching us glorify God! She also suggests VERY comfortable shoes to stand and sing in because we will not be removing them at any time. Also, please be aware of other choir members who are sensitive to and even allergic to perfume. I hope that you will be understanding and considerate of this! Of course we want you to use deodorant, but sometimes, cologne or perfume can be equally as offensive. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and commitment to make this the best choir yet!
There's still room to join the choir if you haven't! We could really use a few good men to sing Tenor and Bass, so come on in to choir practice the next 3 weeks! This will be the last opportunity to join before we sing on November 20th. PLEASE NOTE: We will practice with the full band and all musicians on November 9th and 16th at 5 pm in the Sanctuary. Spread the word and come ready to WORSHIP!
